Running Vista in safe mode means that no 3rd party drivers are running, and that all hardware is using the Vista and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. I get a daily digest of the eq list....the shut down of the forum didn't have anything to do with the daily messages. If I try to open them in EQ6 I get error messages and I have to go through every single block and version to remove the "unclosed shape" before I can use the file in EQ6.
